DENVER/SARAH'S WEDDING!!!

We took our first road trip with both kiddos on May 15. We went to Colorado for Sarah's (Ben's sister) wedding. The kids did pretty good. B enjoyed her DVD player and new DVDs, and London only screamed part of the way, but we had beautiful weather and made pretty good time. We got in on Saturday evening, and the wedding was the next Friday, the 21. So, we were able to enjoy a few days in good old Denver before the wedding festivities began on Thursday. We had B's party on Sunday, and went for a drive to check out our old stomping grounds. On Monday, Ben went golfing with his Dad and soon-to-be brother in law, Christian, while I hit the zoo with the little ladies, Katie, Caroline, Henry, and Grandma Watts. B loved the "polaw beaws" and hyenas. London enjoyed the time in the Baby Bjorn. Monday night we had delicious Chinese food (the one food Ben loves, and can't find a place here) and then went a visited Ben's cousin's family. Oh, and London had a blowout all over me, gotta love that. : )

On Tuesday, we visited Ben's Grandma Rudd and then hit the Colorado Mills mall. B loved the carousel and I LOVED the shopping. I loaded up on super cute stuff for the girls, and a couple of things for me too. : )

On Wednesday, family started arrive. Ben and I did find some time to go to another mall, and go to some of our favorite restaurants - Chick Fil-A, Chipotle, Qdoba, etc. Yum yum!!!

On Thursday, more family came in. Ben went golfing again with all of the guys from the wedding party, and a bunch of us girls went and got pedicures at Coldwater Creek. a huge thanks to Ben's mom for watching the kids. Thursday night was the rehearsal dinner at Cool River Cafe. It was delicious and so fun to see the happy couple.

Friday was the big day. The wedding was beautiful and Sarah was gorgeous! We love Christian, he treats Sarah so good, and they looked so happy!!! The reception was at the Cherry Hills Country Club and it was so nice. It was a beautiful evening, and it was so fun to see family and friends! Welcome to the family Christian!

Sarah and her brothers, isn't the one on the left handsome? : )

Our little matching family, and you can bet we will be wearing the dresses to church! Don't you love the little girls' skirts? So darling. They were made by Ben's talented Aunt. Check out her website here: http://www.beetsnparsnips.com/ I love these skirts, they are so cute, I mean look at little Londini. : )

We left on Sunday, and Brooklyn did not want to leave. She loved Colorado, and loved playing with Caroline and Olivia. She loved seeing "Grandpa Donald and Grandma Watts" as she calls them. Thanks everyone for a great time!

BROOKLYN'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Little Miss Brooklyn turned THREE on May 14. She was so excited for her big day, and told me exactly how she wanted everything. She wanted a princess cake, princess plates, and pink balloons and streamers. The birthday girl got it all! We started her day out with her opening one present (a princess Snow White play set of course) and then we met Grandpa and Grandma Jake for lunch at her favorite place, McDonald's. She wanted a cheeseburger, fries, ketchup and a chocolate milkshake. The birthday girl was spoiled. After Ben came home from work, we had a party with my parents and Zane. We had pizza, her princess cake and ice cream, and opened all of her presents. She got so many fun things; more princesses, princess shoes, The Princess and the Frog DVD, a doctor's kit, a Princess backpack, a little CD player, The Great Mouse Detective DVD, a princess piggy bank, and treats galore.

She started doing this funny little smile . . .

Now onto party #2! Since we left the day after her birthday for Colorado, she had a party there too! Again, she was spoiled rotten! She had another princess cake (this time an ice cream cake) and got so many more presents! She got new clothes, books, 3 other DVDs, a sand/dirt play bucket, a princess scrapbook kit, and a princess art kit! Can you say princess overload?!!!

THREE YEARS OLD . . .

I can't believe my little Brooklyn is 3 today!!! Seriously, where does the time go? It seems like yesterday I was sitting in the hospital room, two weeks overdue, finally being induced and so excited to meet this little lady who just didn't want to come out!!! Brooklyn has been such a joy in our lives, she has quite the little personality, and has since day one! She is such a beautiful little girl, with the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. She loves people, and loves to talk. She keeps us entertained with her stories and funny things she says. She is a great big sister and gives London all of the love she could ever want. : ) She is so tenderhearted and sweet, she really cares about other people. Happy Birthday Miss B! We love you and are so happy to have you in our family!

Pictures . . .

So, these were taken at the end of March - yes, I am THAT BEHIND in blogging! I wanted pictures of the girls in their adorable tutu's (Thanks Nicole!) and they turned out super cute! Now, I just need to post some recent pics of London since she has changed so much, and of B since we got her hair cut. Stay tuned . . . maybe even coming this week! I love these little girls!

I love this one . . .

Sisters, and I LOVE B's smile here . . .

I was a little worried when this one was taken. B was on a platform raised off of the ground about two feet, and when he laid London on her, I was hoping either me or the photographer had amazing reflexes in case B moved. No worries, she did great and held really still. Thank goodness.

Cute little smile . . .
