Little Miss London is ONE MONTH old today! It is so crazy how time flies by, I can't believe she is already a month old. We are slowly but surely adjusting to life with two little ones. Some days are crazier than others, but we are getting the hang of things. : )
Ben's mom, Elaine, flew out the week after London was born and was here for a week to help. It was so nice having her here, and she just spoiled us all with yummy meals, presents, and help with everything.
The last two weeks, I have been on my own during the day, and it hasn't been as bad as I expected it to be. Brooklyn loves her sister, and is a big help to me. She loves to hold London, and help me change her diapers and bathe her. London is growing like a weed, and is starting to get chunky, which I LOVE!!! At her two week checkup, she was 7 lbs. and 11 oz. and that was two weeks ago! I love that I have chunky babies, it must mean they eat well. : ) London is a pretty good sleeper at night still, she wakes up 2 to 3 times to eat, and usually goes right back to sleep. She has started to pull some tricks during the day of not wanting to be put down. I will have her asleep, and then go and lay her down, and 5 minutes later, she is wide awake and screaming. That makes it hard to get anything done, and it makes it really hard to focus on Little Miss Brooklyn. I'm sure we will figure things out.
Ben's sister flies in next Thursday, and then his parents are coming in that weekend too for spring break, and we are super excited to see them all. Brooklyn loves having other people around to help entertain her, besides me. : ) Oh, funny Brooklyn story today (I have to write this down so I don't forget): Brooklyn pretended to call Ben on her Elmo phone this morning. The conversation went like this: "Hi Daddy. How are you? I'm fine. When are you coming home? Mommy is being a stinker to me and I cry. See you later Daddy." Although today has been a little hectic, and I feel bad that my two-year old thinks I'm a stinker, I wouldn't trade anything for the world. I love my little family!
